Secondary Glazing

Install secondary glazing and benefit from:
-
Thermal insulation
-
Sound insulation
-
Window security
Secondary glazing keeps the original look of the building intact while a second window is placed internally, creating a secondary window. Secondary glazing means benefits such as thermal insulation, sound insulation and added window secuirty.
Secondary glazing can help reduce heating bills and keep heat in the building. The secondary window will stop heat reaching outside and save energy.
As a sound insulator, secondary glazing will minimize acoustic leakage. The secondary window will protect against any distracting outside noise pollution such as traffic, aircraft and noise generated by other buildings/factories.
With secondary glazing the added security is obvious. Rather than having one window that an intruder may enter into, there will be two windows. For extra security we recommend using Polycarbonate Glazing Sheets as this type of secondary glazing is virtually unbreakable.
Please Note:
Bay Plastics are a materials supplier. We do not install secondary glazing or advise on installation!
