Secondary glazing plastics are Clear
Acrylic Sheets in Cast or Extruded with 92% visible light transmission,
better than glass. Safety first, standard Perspex acrylic
is 5 times stronger than float glass and half the weight.
Alternatively Glass Look Perspex acrylic is available
to offer designers all the benefits of cast acrylic
whilst giving the appearance of glass. Perspex sheets can also be thermoformed/fabricated into shape. Suitable for DIY applications and professional applications alike.
PETG
sheet is a tough, clear and easy to work with, a
secondary glazing sheet that offers good chemical resistant.
Making it well suited for glazing applications ranging
from store displays to signage.
Polycarbonate
sheets deliver the transparency of glass at half the
weight, 250 times more resistant to impact making it
virtually unbreakable. Ideal for machine guards, safety
glazing, security glazing and secondary glazing applications, as well as conservatories, greenhouses and framing applications.
