PTFE Spiral Wrap
PTFE binding, also known as PTFE spiral wrap, is produced from a high grade PTFE which is inert to most chemicals. PTFE is extremely stable at high temperatures and is essentially non-flammable. Due to its very low surface energy it has excellent anti-stick properties, preventing the build-up of sediment or carbon and with a high temperature rating of 60 to +260 C.
PTFE black spiral wrap is offered in standard lengths of 1.5m and a selective range of internal diameters. Other lengths and colours can be supplied to special order. Suitable for use as electrical sleeving due to its ability to operate in a range of temperatures, making it ideal where total insulation has to be guaranteed from the product.
PTFE spiral wrap will return to its original spiral form after being extended so can be used time and time again.
Applications for PTFE Spiral Wrap
PTFE spiral wrap can be used to bundle wires, hoses, cords and cables and still allow individual routing out of the bundle. An ideal solution for consolidation of cords and wires while providing a protective cover.
