I would like to thank Bay Plastics for supplying me with the plastic for my lighting designs, which I produced for my graduating year from the Interdisciplinary Textile Design course at UWE Bristol. They gave me a lot of help and support throughout sampling and making my final designs. The course focuses on conceptually lead design products and we are encouraged to try and explore various materials so Bay gave me the freedom to sample and explore plastic as a material within the lights.

It has been a pleasure to work with the company, they have been very friendly and professional; a great source of help and encouragement that I needed being a young designer.

Landscape Management Services Ltd - Chelsea Flower Show

I would like to thank Bay Plastics for supplying the plastic features for our garden displays for the Chelsea Flower show in 2005 and 2006. The Roald Dahl Foundation Chocolate Garden 2005 entry created a huge impact and was successful in winning a bronze medal for its innovative garden design. Bay Plastics helped us achieve our vision with the excellent high standard of service as always, the quality parts and the ability to meet the tight deadlines that were put in place. We thank Bay for the contributions made over the last few years and look forward to working with the company in the near future.

We first approached Bay Plastics when we needed help developing a new product. We were using materials that Bay Plastics were familiar with, but they too had little or no experience with this particular application, so it turned out to be a learning experience for all concerned.

There were one or two hiccups along the way, but we finally achieved the desired result, which we’re confident will lead to more business both for us and for Bay Plastics. We were particularly pleased that Bay Plastics staff actually got on board with the project, thinking about techniques and materials and making suggestions about possible solutions – there are too many companies that shy away from any sort of new process, not wanting to try anything new.

By contrast, Bay Plastics’ “Can Do” attitude was just what we look for in a specialist subcontractor. As a small innovative company we really value subcontractors who are prepared to look beyond the value of their first invoice to us, and to invest in creating a long-term relationship.
