Balanced Electrical Properties
Meldin 2001
This material is best suited for thermal and electrical
insulation and radiation resistance. Meldin 2001 has
the highest compressive properties of any material in
the series.
Meldin
2021
A multi-purpose bearing grade for high-temperature and
high-load applications, Meldin 2021 maintains its strength
and rigidity at elevated temperatures.
Meldin
2030
The Meldin 2030 bearing compound operates with extremely
low friction in both dynamic and static applications,
and provides thermal and electrical insulation.

Meldin
3000A
Excellent multi-purpose, wear resistant material that
is suitable for bearing, thrust washer, and piston ring
applications. Meldin 3000A requires a minimum mating
surface hardness of Rockwell C35.
Meldin
3000D
This bearing formulation is particularly well suited
for use with soft mating surface materials such as soft
stainless steel and aluminium.
Meldin
3000F
Components provide stiffness in addition to high wear
resistance for excellent dimensional stability and good
bearings properties. It is recommended for use when
part requirements include high strength in thin cross
sections.
Meldin
3000G
Use Meldin 3000G when the combination of high strength
and electrical insulation is required. Components made
from this material exhibit superior properties in tensile,
flex, and resistance to deformation under load.
Meldin
3000H
This product offers the highest strength and stiffness
in addition to electrical conductivity when static dissipation
is required. Its very low rate of thermal expansion
makes Meldin 3000H an excellent choice for high temperature
bearings and components.

for air motors and pumps
Meldin
5001
components offer superior strength in structural applications
when electrical insulation combined with intricate part
design is required. The melt characteristics of Meldin
5001 material allow for fine detail, regardless of part
complexity.
Meldin
5025
components supply the highest level of strength and
rigidity. It maintains its high tensile, flexural, and
compressive properties, even at elevated temperatures.
Meldin
5055
Low-friction, wear resistant bearings custom moulded
from Meldin 5055 compound perform at high loads and
high temperatures with minimal deformation. Meldin 5055
is self-lubricating, operates quietly, and is resistant
to most chemicals and fluids.
Meldin
5330
Specify Meldin 5330 when part requirements include structural
integrity and high resistance to thermal expansion.
This material exhibits good wear properties and dimensional
stability, making it a good candidate for bearing applications.

Meldin
7000 series
- Geometric Stability at High Temperatures
- Longer Life at Higher Loads and Speeds
- The self lubricating grades of Meldin
7000 do not melt when exposed to high load (P), or
high speed(V) applications.
Meldin
7001 - Unfilled grade
A thermoplastic polyimide, Meldin 7001 is the unfilled
base resin. This grade offers the maximum mechanical
properties over a broad temperature range and excellent
chemical resistance. It is ideal for electrical and
thermal insulation applications. More ductile than ceramics
and lighter in weight than metals. Meldin 7001 exhibits
an outstanding strength to weight ratio making it an
ideal replacement material for metals in difficult environments.
It is also a popular choice for structural parts in
aerospace.
Meldin
7021 - Self Lubricating grade
Meldin 7021 has 15% by weight graphite fillers, encapsulated
by the base polyamide resin. With its low coefficient
of friction and high heat resistance, Meldin 7021 provides
our customers with the best all-round choice for high
temperature bearings, seals and other low-wear applications.
The bearing grade of the Meldin 7000 family with excellent
wear and self-lubricating features in the most difficult
environments. Excellent physical strength across its
full operating temperature range, good chemical resistance
and high operating PV's. Used in rigorous aircraft engine
applications where high temperature and physical strength
is critical.
Meldin
7003
Includes 15% molybdenum disulfide lubricating filler
for wear applications that operate in a vacuum or in
very dry conditions
Meldin 7022
With 40% graphite filler, the Meldin 7022 grade offers
additional dimensional stability and the lowest coefficient
of thermal expansion of any Meldin grade
Meldin
7211- Lowest Friction Grade
Has 10% PTFE and 15% graphite filler, which provides
our lowest coefficient of friction grade.
